Switching the tablet on and off

Press and hold the tablet's On/Off button and wait a few seconds until the display turns on�
When you switch on your tablet for the first time or after performing a data reset, follow the
on-screen instructions to set up your device�
Once the tablet is on, this button can also be used to:
• Lock/Unlock your touch screen with a single short press
• Access emergency calls, switch off or restart your tablet with a long press�

Tips and precautions for charging your battery

Never charge your tablet using the X-LINK
connection at the same time, as this could shorten the lifespan of your tablet's equip-
ment�
The battery is built into the tablet and is not removable� Do not remove the battery
yourself�

1. Open the dust cap and connect the cable and AC adapter supplied in
your pack using the USB-A port� Then plug the other end of the cable
into the USB-C port on your tablet�
2. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet�
3. When the battery is fully charged, unplug the tablet from the charger�
First unplug the charger from the device, then unplug it from the
electrical outlet�
