• Forcing restart
If your device has crashed and no longer responds, hold the "On/Off" button down for at least
15 seconds in order to switch your tablet off� Wait for a few seconds before turning your device
back on�
• Resetting the device
If you can't solve the issue, restore the default settings on your device� To do this, refer to the
procedure described on page 27 of this manual�
Before restoring your device's default settings, don't forget to make back-up copies of
all important data stored on the device�

Calls

Unable to make calls
• Make sure that you're connected to the right cell network�
• Check that the SIM card hasn't be deactivated� To do this, go to Settings
Internet
> Mobile network, and check that the "Use the SIM card" has been activated.
• Check that you've not activated the call restriction feature for the number you're dialling or
for the incoming call number� To do this, go into Telephone
right of the interface > Settings > Blocked numbers.
The other person on the call can't hear you
• Check that your device's microphone isn't covered�
• Check that the microphone is close enough to your mouth�
• If you're using the hands-free kit that comes with your device, check that the speakers are
connected properly and that the microphone is positioned close enough to your mouth�
You can hear an echo during calls
Adjust the volume by pressing the +/- volume button or move to another place�
Frequent disconnections from the mobile network or the internet, or poor audio
quality
• Make sure that nothing is interfering with the antenna built into the device�
• When you're in areas with poor reception, you risk losing your network connection�
• Plus, connectivity issues can be caused by issues and faults experienced by your operator�
Move to another place and try again�

Battery status

The battery isn't charging properly (for Crosscall chargers)
• Make sure that the charger is properly plugged in, and that the terminal is correctly positioned
on the X-LINK™ accessory enabling your device to be charged (X-CABLE, X-DOCK, etc�)�
• Contact Crosscall's after-sale service and request a battery replacement�
The battery is losing charge increasingly quickly.
• When the device or battery is exposed to extreme temperatures, the usable charge can be
reduced�
• Battery consumption is increased when you use certain messaging features or applications,
such as GPS, games and the internet�
