5.1.2 Functional description
To execute the preset adjustment function the input TR_SafeState must be set
to "1". About the output READY the current state of the input TR_SafeState is
displayed.
The inputs NewPresPos is always read and output to the TR_PresPos output,
irrespective of the signal status of the other inputs. Once the preset block has
been
NEW_PRES_SINGLE may no longer be changed.
The preset block is executed with the rising edge of the REQ input. The VALID
and ERROR outputs are reset to 0. The outputs TR_PresPrep, TR_PresReq and
BUSY are set to 1.
The measuring system then executes the preset adjustment function. The time
for resetting the REQ input to 0 has no influence on the further execution of the
preset adjustment function.
When the preset adjustment function has been executed, the measuring system
sets the TR_PresOk bit or the TR_PresError bit at the input. With these bits
the corresponding outputs VALID or ERROR are set.
After one of the outputs VALID or ERROR was set, the outputs TR_PresPrep,
TR_PresReq and BUSY are reset to 0. The READY output is set to 1 again,
marking the end of the preset block's execution.
