SAFETY

12.1

Intended Use

The ZIPPER Power trowel is to be used solely for following operations under compliance to all
operations, security and maintenance guidelines described in this manual and furthermore all
general security and work safety guidelines:
Polishing of already compacted fresh concrete or floor,
Misuse, changes and/or manipulations of the machine render any warranty claims towards the
ZIPPER GmbH null and void.

Exhaust notice!
The Power trowel may only be used
outdoors or in very well ventilated
areas.
The exhausts of the combustion motor
are toxic. The use of the machine in
closed rooms leads to unconsciousness
of the operator and subsequently to
death.
ATTENTION!
Petrol is highly flammable!
No open flame, no sparks, no smoking in
the surrounding allowed when refueling.
No refueling when motor is running:
Shut the motor OFF, let it cool down so
that you can touch it.
Spilled petrol shall be cleaned up
immediately.
Refuel only in well ventilated areas.
Always use the tank screen inlet!
Assure yourself after the Refueling that
the tank cap is firmly closed.
Beware of hot machine parts!
Carburator, engine, engine cover
become hot during operation
Do not touch! – Burn Hazard!
Do not cover the machine immediately
after operation with a plastic or cloth
cover.
Do not stock paperboard, carton, paper
or other easily flammable materials near
the storage place of the ZI-BG100.
The hot machine parts might origin a
fire.
