Surface treatment

The following surface treatment processes
were used to protect against corrosion:
• Lacquered surfaces = Polyester powder
• coating or ED-coating
• Non-lacquered steel surfaces = Galvanized

Power unit

For an optimum lifetime the power unit must
be connected to the mains voltages as often
as possible (e.g. every night). Charge the bat-
teries 12 hours before use.
The batteries must be charged at least every
3rd month - otherwise there might be dam-
ages due to self-discharge. It is recommended
to test the battery function at least once every
year.

Recharging the battery:

• Remove the plug from the power system
and plug in the charging lead
• Plug the charger into the electricity supply
and switch ON. A yellow light on the char-
ger will light up
• Charge the batteries until the lamp on the
charger turns green
