1.2.4. Cleaning and maintenance

They have installed high-quality Behnke
products with front panels made of different
materials. All materials should be cleaned with
a suitable cleaning agent in regular, sufficiently
short intervals, depending on the material. This
prevents early ageing and patina formation on
the surface. For normal cleaning of the camera
dome, a non-abrasive, solvent-free neutral soap
or an appropriate detergent with distilled water
and a clean, soft cloth are recommended. Rinse
the camera dome thoroughly with lukewarm
distilled water. To avoid water spots, clean the
camera dome with a soft, clean cloth.
