⇒ Lift off the cover strip with a small screwdriver. There is a small
slot on the back of the cover strip for this purpose.
⇒ Use pointed pliers or small diagonal pliers to break open the
plastic at the intended location on the cover strip.
⇒ Insert the connection cable (5, Fig. 1) in the connection point on
the trimmer.
If necessary, use a small screwdriver to press the connector
inwards until it clicks into place.
⇒ Attach the cover strip again. In doing so, guide the cable through
the opening created previously.
⇒ Attach the guide light. The ridges on the front and rear must
engage in the slot on the unit.
The cable should not be pinched!
⇒ Tighten the clamping screw (6, Fig. 1) on the back of the guide
light only slightly, as the guide light still has to be aligned.
⇒ Connect the power plug.
⇒ Switch on the guide light at the sensor button (4, Fig. 1).
⇒ Align the guide light by moving it to the right/left and turning the
black adjustment wheel so that the laser beam is aligned with
the median palatine raphe of the orthodontic model table.
⇒ Tighten the Allen screw finger-tight.
Do not overtighten the Allen screw!
5 Operation

5.1 Switching on / off
The guide light can be switched on as soon as the power plug of the trimmer is connected.
It is switched on and off using the sensor button (4, Fig. 1).
The trimmer does not need to be running for this purpose.
