Receiving calls

Making calls

1. Enter the required telephone number with a maximum of 44 digits using the
number pad. As the display is only capable of showing 18 digits, in the case of
longer phone numbers only the last 18 digits are displayed.
Note: If you have entered a number incorrectly, you can delete the number by
repeatedly pressing the
button for a long time.

Note: You can also get a dialling tone by first pressing the call button

Adjusting the speech volume

You can adjust the volume of the persons you are speaking to in 16 steps by means of
the buttons while a call is being made.

Call duration display

The call duration in minutes and seconds is shown on the left-hand
side of the display during a call. Ten seconds after dialling, the display
will switch from showing the number dialled to showing the duration of
the call. The call duration will still be retained in the display for a few
seconds after the call has been ended.

Display of remaining talk time

If you are using the mobile unit with the battery, you will be given
information concerning the remaining talk time while a call is being
made. This indication on the right-hand side of the display shows you
the remaining talk time in hours and minutes. When used with the
power supply or during the charging process, you will not be given
information regarding the remaining talk time.
