Congratulations on your new CB radio AE 6891. This CB radio from our Heavy Duty Series is
an extremely robust designed radio and can be used nearly everywhere in Europe (except
Austria, where you are only permitted to use our specially programmed FM version until the
new EU regulations come into force), which can be programmed according to the country of
use.
Since the new European regulations require that you are familiar with the regulations before
first using the radio, we strongly recommend to read this user Manual and to use only such
programming as scheduled for your country.
Your new CB radio features the following alternatives:
•
40 channels FM / 4 Watts, plus 40 channels AM, 1 Watt (programming 40/40 EU)
•
80 channels FM / 4 Watts, plus 40 channels AM, 1 Watt (programming 80/40 dE)
You can change these two settings with a bridge in the main unit to 4W in AM, as soon as
the new regulations become national law in Germany.
•
40 channels FM / 4 Watts (programming 40 FM / factory setting for Austria EC)
•
40 channels FM / 4 Watts, plus 40 channels AM, 4 Watt (programming for Poland Po)
•
40 channels FM / 4 Watts, plus 40 channels AM, 4 Watt (programming for Spain E)
The settings E and Po correspond already with the new CEPT standard CEPT/ECC DEC 11
(03) and ETSI EN 300 433-2
