Installers and users are responsible to apply only allowed settings. In EU and R&TTE
countries it is not allowed to use higher power settings or any channel expansion.
1. Select factory default settings
This is the start setting when radio is powered for the first time or the setting which shall
be used when the country switching shall be disabled. The factory default setting for
sales to Germany is dE. The setting can be modified to all of the following country
settings:
Jumpers responsible for start setting: P1, P2, P3
U UK setting 40 FM
E Spain setting 40/AM/FM, 4W AM: P1 : Open
dE Germany :
EU Europe AM/FM, 40 Ch
EC CEPT 40 FM
Po Poland Area :
2. Enabling / Disabling User setting via keyboard entry:
Diode position P6 can enable or disable the country setting by key entry.
User setting enabled
User setting disabled
In case of disabled user setting the radio starts with the default settings, selected via
Jumpers P1 to P3 before.

- Seite 3 Power Options Normal power selected automatically together with country switching, for example between dE and E setting. Settings with main board jumpers P 1, P2, P3 override country setting. P 1 + P 2 open: Standard, stabilized power P 1 + P 2 short: maximum available power , ~ 6-7 W AM, 8-9 W FM (not stabilized) open: Standard AM power = 25 % of FM power, normally 1 W short: AM power same as FM power (for normally 4 Watt)

Wer Funkgeräte auf nicht erlaubte Einstellungen umbaut, kann ggf. ebenso wie der Benutzer zur Verantwortung herangezogen und ggf. bestraft werden. In den EU und R&TTE Ländern sind Kanalerweiterungen und höhere Leistungseinstellungen nicht erlaubt.
- Seite 5 Bei gesperrter Länderauswahl arbeitet das Gerät nur auf der Ländereinstellung, wie für den Gerätestart ausgewählt. Beispiel : Österreich In Österreich ist es nicht erlaubt, dass der Benutzer andere Ländereinstellungen mit den Tasten auswählen darf. Nur die parmanente EC = CEPT 40 CH FM Einstellung ist dort für die Benutzer erlaubt.
- Seite 6 Hinweis: sofern Polen als Starteinstellung gewählt ist, erscheinen auch die Bänder bei der Kanalerweiterung alle mit – 5 kHz Offsetgegenüber der internationalen Norm, ansonsten entsprechen die Bänder der internationalen Norm mit 5 kHz an der letzten Stelle.
