17. General INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Comply with safety distance between hob and hood.
(A) Air recirculation mode
(B) Exhaust air mode
Attention! Install carbon filter C
air mode.
A Installation for circulating air filter mode
Same procedure as described under the following
chapter B. However, omit step 16.
In addition fit the carbon filters C
the grease filter.
B Installation for exhaust air mode
Before starting the installation, please remove the
grease filter and then proceed as follows:
1.
By using the bracket
holes site on the right height on the wall and
then drill thre 8mm holes at the marked
positions and set the wall plugs.
2.
Fix the bracket B3 with
3 screws on the wall.
3.
Assemble the one‐way
valve flaps B11 on the
hood body above the
exhaust nozzle B10.
The wall plugs supplied with the appliance are for solid masonry only.
4.
Hang the hood on the bracket B3.
5.
Hang the mounting bracket B4
like in picture B5.
6.
Put on the external part of the chimney shaft B6 with the assembled mounting bracket B4
7.
Push the assembled mounting bracket B4
the wall with a pencil.
8.
Remove the chimney
aside.
9.
Drill 2 holes on the wall using the 2 circles marked before as reference and insert 2 wall plugs in the
holes.
10.
Fix the mounting bracket B4 for the external (lower) chimney shaft with 2 screws on the wall using the
2 wall plugs.
11.
Fix the mounting bracket B7 for the internal chimney shaft B8
12.
Mark the 2 drilling holes through the 2 holes
13.
Remove the hood from the bracker
14.
Drill two 8mm holes for the hood locking screws at the marked points on the wall.
