• Always place the heater on a flat and stable surface. Never install or use the heater in a bathroom or bedroom, in the basement, on the
upper floors of a building or in leisure accommodations;
• Never position the gas heater too close to other sources of heat (a distance of at least 1 metre is required between the gas heater and other
heating sources) or inflammable or explosive materials. During operation, the gas heater should not face objects that can be damaged or
burned;
• Position the heater so that the heat is directed towards the center of the room and towards an open space. In addition, the front, radiant
part must be at least 2.0 meter away from any inflammable materials, i.e. curtains or sofas;
• Never operate the gas heater when the gas container is outside the compartment.
• Only replace gas cylinder in a flame free environment.
• Before connecting the gascontainer to the device
o Check and clean the filter of the regulator
o Release a little bit of gas (outdoors) from the gascontainer. This will clear present dirt particles to prevent them from entering the pressure
regulator or device.
o Each time when gas cylinder or gas tube is connected: always do a leakage test with soapy water - see chapter 'gas leaks'.
Problem:
No flame/no ignition in winter (temp. <7 °C)
Solution:
Check whether butane or propane is being used: butane will burn ever more poorly as the temperature drops below 7 °C because it then turns
into liquid. With LPG (= propane/butane mixture), it will often help to give the gas cylinder a shake.
Use only a correct low pressure regulator. Outlet pressure details: see rating label. Do not move the appliance when operating, shocks and
bumps may activate the safety device. Do not twist the flexible tubing or hose.
INSTALLATION OF THE COALS
The heater is provided including artificial coals.
RISK OF SEVERE INJURY: only use the provided artificial coals. NEVER use real coals. NEVER use any other flammable or inflammable materials
in the heater. Install the coals as per pic. 2.
The artificial coal pack is marked with 2 indicaters (inside the circles in pic. 3). Make sure the indicators are pointed forward, towards you.
Close the door completely after the coals are in position. Do not use the heater without the artificial coals.

USE

The knobs for turning the gas heater ON are located on the upper part of the heater:
IMPORTANT:
Never push down button A for more than 40 seconds continuously.
A. Button to manual allow gas into the heater
B. Electronic ignition button
C. Thermostat
Button B is the cover of the battery compartment and can be screwed off. Install 1 x AAA-battery with "+" pole pointing upward.
Screw Button B back on.
1. Open the gascontainer valve (follow the instructions provided with the low-pressure regulator)
2. Allow the gas into the heater by pressing button "A", hold button "A" down for 20 seconds.
3. While holding "A" down: press button B for 1 second to create ignition sparks.
- If there are no sparks: check whether battery is full and check whether battery is fitted with '+' pointing upwards.
4. Blue color pilot flame should appear just below the coal pack.
- If blue color pilot flame does not appear: keep pushing the button down for another 20 seconds. Go to step iii
5. When blue color flame appears: keep pressing the button A for another 20 seconds, then release the button. The flames will now switch to
the coal pack.
6. Dial the thermostat to the high position = position 6
- The numbers on the dial are an indication for the wished room temperature
- When the room temperature reaches the temperature that belongs to (for example) dial number 4 than the heater will automatically
switch to lowest fire.
