How to set in concrete correctly.

Length-adjustable cable conduit for setting in concrete.
HSI150 system covers or HRD press seals / the KES M 150-
KVB cable entry system can be connected on both sides.
The following wall thicknesses are possible:

• Perfom prefabricated concrete work as usual.
• The position of the additional three-ribbed seal
on the intermediate pipe can be adjusted in the
precast factory when installing the perimeter
insulations.
• It must be ensured that the three-ribbed seals
are fully embedded in the respective concrete
layer.
• The minimum thickness of the concrete outer
shell is 50 mm.

Place cable conduit on the level and set the desired

length or the desired shuttering space using the
scale (see Fig.: 4).

Take care to ensure that the three arrows on
the protective foils point upwards on both
connection sides.
• The formwork spacing must be no smaller or
larger than the wall thickness „X" specified for
the wall insert when the order was placed. The
dimensions must be checked before installation
(see Fig.: 4 and 5).
• The assembly frames may not twist relative to
each other.
Tighten the tension strap using the wrench

provided with integrated torque limiter so as to fix
the set length of the cable conduit. Alternatively,
the tension strap can be tightened using a torque
wrench with approx. 2.5 Nm/SW7 (see Fig.: 6).
Check the dimensions prior to installation.

Torque monitoring: Once the torque has been
reached, the wrench slips or breaks.
The twist protection of the tension strap is
ensured by means of a lock pin.

Nail the wall insert HSI150 K2 Varia to the wooden

formwork using the nail holes provided for this
purpose.
Next, close the formwork (see Fig.: 7).
