Important safety and user information
This document contains important information about the safe use of
the described product. For more information, refer to the appropriate
Operating Instructions for the product.
The described product has been developed, manufactured, tested and
documented in compliance with the EU standards. Nevertheless there
is a danger of personal injuries and damage to property if you fail to
observe this section and the safety instruction in this documentation.
Therefore read this documentation and the Operating Instructions
for the product carefully and fully before you work with the product.
Keep the documentation so that all users have access to it any
time.
Always provide the product to third parties together with the
product documentation.
Intended use
The described product is an electrical equipment component for
machines.
The product serves in connection with an appropriate weld timer
•
with MF inverter for resistance welding or metals.
The product is only intended for professional/industrial operation
•
and not for private use.
The product is intended for operation in industrial environments
•
(emission class A, group 2) and complies with the following
directives and standards:

– EN 62135
– DIN EN ISO 22829
Intended use also means that you have read and understood the
product documentation.
Inappropriate use
The inappropriate use of the product may lead to operating statuses in
your application which cause physical injury and/or damage to
property.
Any use other than described as "intended use" is "inappropriate" and
therefore inadmissible.
Inappropriate use of the product includes in particular:
operation in potentially explosive atmospheres,

operation in safety-relevant applications, unless these
•
applications are not expressly specified or permitted in the
product documentation,
use of inappropriate control components,
•
use as load-bearing construction element,
•
operation without corresponding cooling,
•
operation without permanent or with insufficient fastening,
•
operation outside the technical data,
•
operation or storage outside the specified environmental
•
conditions,
electrical connection does not correspond to documentation.

Bosch Rexroth AG does not assume any liability for damages caused
by inappropriate use. The risks resulting from inappropriate use are
borne by the operator/user alone.
Qualification of personnel
The present documentation and the Operating Instructions for the
product are designed for specifically trained, skilled personnel with
special knowledge of the welding technology. This group of persons
must have profound knowledge of the software and hardware
components of the welding system.
Use of unqualified personnel or non-compliance with warning notes
Possibility of reduction of safety of persons/systems, function
disturbances/restrictions!
Make sure that all work is carried out by properly qualified
personnel only.
Make sure that warning notes/instructions on the product or the
related documentation are observed.
Strong electromagnetic fields during the welding sequence
Possibility of function disturbances of cardiac pacemakers, metal
implants or also hearing aids!
Make sure that persons dependent on or using devices of this
kind avoid resistance welding equipment.
Make sure that corresponding warning signs are posted at a
proper distance from resistance welding equipment.
