MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Connections
Earth connection of remote SEARCH control

Fuse (2,5A delay-acting) with fuse holder
General
Voltage and polarity: The
apparatus should be
connected only to a 12V
battery with negative terminal
to earth (car chassis).
Warning: To prevent short
circuiting, keep the negative
battery terminal disconnected
until the radio has been
mounted and connected.
MOUNTING
Aerial
Choice of the aerial depends
on the type of car. Position the
aerial as far as possible from
the ignition assembly. The
aerial earthing bar must

Loudspeakers
Choice of the loudspeaker
depends on the provisions in
your car. Only use loudspeaker
having an impedance of
4 ohms.
Mounting in car front
Preferably mount loudspeakers
in positions having good
acoustics, like at left and right
in dasboard or as high as
possible in doors.
As a result:
a) improved clarity
b) increased stereo effect

c) less treble loss due to short
distance to listener.
Loudspeakers can also be
mounted in side panels below
dashboard.
Mounting in car rear
Loudspeakers are mounted in
or on hat shelf when:
a) There are no facilities in car
front
b) you want to improve your
sound installation with two
additional loudspeakers. This
strongly improves the sound
distribution.
For many cars adapted
loudspeakers are available.
