I. Description – purpose of use
The self-levelling cross line laser (green colour) is intended for determining and
checking vertical and horizontal lines relative to the projected laser lines. The laser
projects 4 vertical lines and 1 horizontal line and 6 dots (4V1H6D), i.e. two parallel
vertical planes and one horizontal plane (see fig. 1).
y The principle for using the self-levelling laser requires that the laser device is not tilted by more
than 3° from the horizontal plane, and the device projects laser beams that, after settling,
automatically define the horizontal plane and/or vertical (self-levelling mechanism). When the
device is tilted by more than 3°, the laser lines will flash together with a beeping sound and self-
-levelling will not be possible.
y Apart from the laser line, the device also projects a red floor dot on to the ground for deter-
mining the right angle between the dot on the ground and the horizontal line (plane) or for
measuring the vertical between the floor and the ceiling, which is given by the cross line on the
ceiling and the floor dot on the ground. The floor dot is not lit when the horizontal line is not lit.
y The device has a PULSE MODE function and in this mode it can
be used with the receiver (detector) for the localisation of laser
lines under poor visibility conditions, e.g. outdoors or in large
indoor areas, e.g. in halls, further details later in text.
y The device is powered using a 5200 mAh Li-ion battery
charged via USB-C with charge level indication.
y For continuous operation, the battery may be connected
to the charging voltage of a USB port when the laser device
is turned on. The battery has electronic protection against
complete discharge, which damages it.
y The device is resistant against rain (IP54).
y Touch buttons (functions are activated by touching, not by pressing).
y The device can be mounted on a tripod with a 5/8" thread.
y The device is supplied in a practical bag with a foam storage compartment for protection
against damage during handling.

The max. measuring distance depends on
ambient light intensity. The specified max.
recommended distance applies for interiors
under standard light conditions. At high light
intensities, the visibility of the beam is shorter.
To improve the visibility of the laser line, and
thereby also increase the projection range, it is
possible to use glasses having the same colour
as the laser beam (it does not serve as eye pro-

The battery has integrated protection against
a current greater than 1A, thus the battery can
be charged from the USB port of a computer,
powerbank, etc. irrespective of the specified
charging current value. A USB charger (output)
with a charging current greater than 1A will
not accelerate the battery charging process.
