Advises to build-in
• Pay attention that the flexible tube has only a limited length. The opening at the bottom of the
counter and the unit shouldn`t be mounted too far away.
• The correct function of the unit depends on the correct mounting of the hose.
• One hose must supply only one appliance.
• The intake should be close to the ground floor, to absorb cool air only. It is not permitted to reduce the diameter
of the hose while installation.
• In any case you should take care that the air intakes will be kept entirely clear.
• Make sure that there are no heat sources, waste heat of other machines or heating elements or air ducts of
heating, ventilation, air conditioning close to the intake to avoid absorbing warmed-up air.
• The absorbed air floats through the hose and will be blown by the fan over the cooling fins.
• Assure that the air can flow over the small sides of the cooling element and can escape over the small sides of
the appliance. Cut the according vent opening in the counter top or in the upper area at the side of the counter.
This prevents overheating and reducing the cooling power.
• The counter top shall not be too thick. The cooling element must stick out at the bottom side of the counter top.
• It is important that you don`t place several units side by side with the small sides, because otherwise the cooling
function will be affected through the warm exhaust air of the neighbor-unit. You can built-in several units
side-by-side with the long sides, but with a certain distance, never end to end.
• Please install the appliance in that way, that it is always possible to remove the cooling- / heating unit in case of
malfunctions.

Use
4.1
Function
The cooling- / heating unit works with direct contact to the surface of the unit.
It works with thermo electrical Peltier-modules. No using of cooling liquid is necessary.
It only works with electricity.
The power adapter converses voltage from conventional 100-240V ~50/60Hz from mains socket to a preset
power output of 24V DC to supply the Spring cooling- / heating unit.
4.2
Startup/Operation
To use the cooling function switch the button to position „Kalt/Cool".
To use the heating function switch the button to position „Heiß/Heat".
The fan starts to operate.
To switch the appliance off, set the button to position „Aus/Off".
