Before the first use

Application

The Spring cooling- / heating unit is manufactured for food, which shall be kept warm or cold for a short period.
It is not made for storage, but for presentation of food for a short period of time.
It doesn`t substitute a cooler. The cooling- / heating unit is not intended for direct food contact. Do not use this
appliance to cool sandwich or bakery products.
The cooling- / heating unit is intended for professional use only. Please ensure that your employees who use the
appliance are familiar with this user´s guide. These operating instructions should always be available for reference.

Important safety recommendations

General safety recommendations

Danger!
Do only operate this appliance under supervision and solely for the intended purpose. Any other use is
prohibited and can lead to damages of the appliance, short circuit, fire hazard, and electric shock.
Caution!
The appliance is only intended for dry indoor use.
Caution!
The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of Children.
Danger!
Never use the cooling- / heating unit without power supply.
Danger!
NEVER use another power supply than the original one.
Caution!
Unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the device are inadmissible the preset power output of
24V should never be changed.
Caution!
Never cover the ventilating slot on the top and the bottom of the housing to assure sufficient cooling of
the unit. Never place the unit on a table cloth or carpet. Place the unit on a hard, flame resistant base.
Caution!
Never disconnect the plugs of cooling- / heating unit and power supply while operating! First switch off
the unit, then detach the power supply and then the connection of the appliance and the power sup-
ply can be disconnected.
