Before the first use
Read these operating instructions

for the first time.
• Remove all packing parts and possibly stickers, but
not the type plate nor the serial number.
• Place the filter coffee machine on a dry, slip-resistant

domestic use only.
• Use the coffee maker exclusively for making coffee. Do
not fill other liquids or foodstuffs in the coffee maker.
• Fill the water tank with cold water only.
• Never operate the appliance without water.
• ATTENTION: Do not fill the water tank beyond the
MAX marking on the carafe with water. A possible
bubbling over can cause a danger of scald!
• During use, never open the lid of the water tank.

Operation
• Insert the plug into the socket.
• Fill the water reservoir with desired amount of cold
tap water using the carafe (max. 10 cups).
• Caution: Never fill more than 10 cups in the wa-
ter tank. A possible bubbling over can cause the
danger of scald!
• Place the carafe on the warming plate under the pivot filter.
• Open the pivot filter.
• Insert a 1x4 paper filter.
• And add the required amount of coffee powder and
close the pivot filter again.
• Press the ON/OFF button.
• The indicator light will illuminate.
• Now the appliance is in operation for 40 minutes (brewing
coffee + „Keep Warm" time) and then shuts off automatically.
