by trial and error.
Do not switch the device on/off over the spray area,
but start and end the spraying process approx. 10
cm outside the spray area.
To switch on, press and hold the trigger lever (8).
Release the trigger lever (8) again to end the op-
eration.
Set the colour beam
The device has omnidirectional and broad-beam set-
tings.
Round jet
Adjust the omnidirectional beam:
Use the omnidirectional beam for small areas, cor-
ners and edges, for example.
Turn the regulator (5) clockwise.
Set wide beam:
Use the wide jet vertically and horizontally for larg-
er areas.
Turn the regulator (5) anti-clockwise.
The nozzle head (9) can be continuously adjusted
vertically and horizontally by turning it to the desired
position.
Regulate paint quantity
Note: The front locking screw is used to limit the ad-

Increase the amount of paint:
Turn the stroke stop screw (4) anti-clockwise.
Reduce the amount of paint:
Turn the stroke stop screw (4) clockwise.
Regulate air volume
Note: It is recommended to start with the maximum
air volume. To do this, open the air volume control (7)
to the maximum setting as described below under "In-
creasing the air volume".
Increase air volume:
Note: Increasing the air volume is usually advisable if
the atomisation is too coarse.
Turn the air volume regulator (7) anti-clockwise.
20 | GB
Reduce air volume:
Note: Reducing the air volume is usually advisable if
the mist spray is too thick.

10. Maintenance and cleaning

Note: Thorough cleaning after each use is very impor-
tant for safety and operation. Otherwise, for example,
the needle will become clogged and the proper func-

Regulator Turn the air volume regulator (7) clock-
wise.
Wear suitable protective gloves when cleaning.
Do not use halogen solvents containing hydrocar-
bons such as trichloromethyl, ethyl chloride, etc., as
they react chemically with some of the paint spray
gun materials. This can lead to dangerous reac-
tions.
ATTENTION! Never place the paint spray gun com-
pletely in solvent.
After each use, spray thinner (only outdoors#end#-
danger#of#explosion!) or water through the device.
To clean the housing, the nozzle head (9) and the
spray holes inside it, use the enclosed cleaning
brush or a cloth. Never use petrol, solvents or clean-
ers that attack plastic.
First unscrew the stroke stop screw (4) by turning
it anti-clockwise.
Remove the spring (11).
Remove the needle (10) using tongs (Fig. A).
Clean the needle (10) carefully with the brush (12).
(Fig. B)
Put the needle (10) back into the paint spray gun.
Place the spring (11) on the end of the needle (10).
Screw the stroke stop screw (4) back on by turning
it clockwise.
Unscrew the flow cup (3) anti-clockwise from the

Also clean the inner screw thread (14) of the flow
cup (3) with the cleaning brush (Fig. D).
Connect the filter back into the gun (Fig. C) and
screw the flow cup (3) clockwise onto it.
For rust protection, you can spray sewing machine
oil through it after cleaning.
Oil all moving parts from time to time.
After cleaning the needle, the thread and seal must
be treated lightly with grease.
Do not use lubricants containing silicone.
Only store compressed air devices in dry rooms.
