However, from the shaft side, it is possible to press the rotary encoder off if customer-side design measures (e.g., a removable motor flange) are implemented that enable access to the shaft side of the rotary encoder. In the event of re-use of the motor flange, the rotary encoder, tolerance sleeve, and central screw must be replaced.
