■ Cleaning and user maintenance
may not be carried out by children.
Otherwise, there is the risk of incorrect
operation and injuries.
■ Should the battery which is connected
to the mains power fall into water, cut
off the power supply immediately. Do
not attempt to pull the battery out of
the water while it is still connected to
the mains power! There is a danger of
electric shock.
■ Never touch the power tool, the bat-
tery or the connecting cable with wet
hands. There is a danger of electric
shock.
■ Make sure that the connecting cable
does not present a trip hazard.
■ Check the connecting cable for dam-
age each time before you put it into
operation. If you find any damage or
wear, do not use it to prevent injuries.
■ Do not use the power supply (JLH-
192101100GA) with another device.
■ Do not make any modifications to the
power tool or the connecting cable.
■ If the mains connecting cable of the
power tool is damaged, it must be re-
placed by a specially designed mains
connecting cable which is available
from the customer service department.
■ Do not cover the power tool during
operation in order to prevent it from
catching fire.
■ Do not cover the battery or the con-
necting cable during charging and
keep them away from combustible
materials to prevent the risk of fire.
■ Only use and store the power tool, the
battery and the connecting cable in an
ambient temperature of from 7°C to
40°C.
■ The battery and the connecting cable
must be neither immersed in water or
other liquids nor splashed with them.
There is a danger of electric shock.

■ The power tool must be switched off
and the battery removed in the follow-
ing situations:
○ before checking the integrity of the
device;
○ in the event of malfunctions or con-
tact with foreign bodies and subse-
quent testing of the device.
■ Store the power tool only in closed
rooms.
■ Protect the power tool and accesso-
ries from impacts and any mechanical
damage.
■ Do not place any heavy objects on the
power tool or its accessories.
■ Do not connect the connecting cable
to a plug socket during a thunder-
storm.
■ Do not carry the power tool in a bag to
prevent it switching on unintentionally.

RESIDUAL RISKS

Even if the power tool is used properly,
there is always a certain residual risk
that cannot be excluded. The nature and
design of the power tool means that the
following potential hazards exist:
crush injury from contact with the
rotating drill chuck,
cut injury from reaching into the mov-
ing power tool,
damage to your hearing if suitable
hearing protection is not worn,
damage to the lungs from breathing in
material particles if suitable breathing
protection is not worn,
damage to the eyes if suitable eye
protection is not worn,
damage to your health resulting from
hand-arm vibrations if the power
tool is used over a prolonged period
of time or is not properly kept and
serviced,
electric shock if you touch non-isolat-
ed electrical components.
