Cordless Multi-Function Screwdriver
Get some fresh air and consult a doc-
tor if you feel unwell. The vapours may
irritate the respiratory passages.
6) Service
a) Have the power tool repaired only
by a qualified expert using only
genuine replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power
tool is maintained.
b) Never service damaged batteries.
The servicing of batteries should only
be carried out by the manufacturer or
authorised service centres.
SAFETY NOTICES
FOR DRILLS AND
SCREWDRIVERS
1) Safety Notices for All Work
a) Hold the power tool only by the
insulated gripping surfaces when
carrying out work during which
the inserted tool or the screws
may come into contact with hidden
wiring or the tool's own connect-
ing cable. Contact with a "live" wire
may make exposed metal parts of the
power tool "live" and could give the
operator an electric shock.
b) Hold the power tool securely. High
reaction torques can be produced
for a short time when tightening and
undoing screws.
c) Secure the workpiece. A workpiece
that is held firmly by a clamping device
or vice is held more securely than with
your own hand.
d) Wait until the power tool has come
to a standstill before putting it
down. The inserted tool may get
caught and lead to a loss of control
over the power tool.
e) Before doing any work on the pow-
er tool (e.g. maintenance, change
of tool etc.) and when transporting
and storing it, move the rotation
direction changeover switch to the
middle position. There is a danger of
injury if the On/Off switch is operated
accidentally.
f) Protect the power tool from heat,
e.g. also from persistent sunlight,
fire, water and moisture. There is a
risk of explosion.
2) Safety Notices When Using
Long Drill Bits
a) Under no circumstances should
you work with a speed which is
higher than the maximum permit-
ted speed for the drill bit. At higher
speeds, the drill bit may bend slightly if
it is able to rotate freely without being
in contact with the workpiece, and
cause injuries.
b) Always start drilling at a low speed
and while the drill bit is in con-
tact with the workpiece. At higher
speeds, the drill bit may bend slightly if
it is able to rotate freely without being
in contact with the workpiece, and
cause injuries.
c) Do not exert excess pressure and
only in the longitudinal direction
towards the drill bit. Drill bits may
bend and thus break or lead to a loss
of control and injuries.
