NOTICE
Use only the intended 12V trailer cable with the camera.
Use only the intended 5V cigarette adaptor with the LCD monitor.
If you interchange these cables or use an alternative power source you might damage the
equipment. The warranty does not cover damages caused by use of incorrect power source.
Before you start to install, make sure that there is no power in
your trailer by unloading the trailer from your car. Connect one
end of the 12V power trailer cable to the power source, (the end
with the horse shoe joints). Connect the white-striped cable to
the plus pole (+) of the power source. Connect the all black
cable to the minus pole (-) of the power source. Make sure that
power is running through the power cable by connecting the
trailer to the car and by starting the car. If the power is running
through the cable, the red LED on the adaptor box will start to
illuminate. If you have connected the cable joints to the wrong
poles, the cable is equipped with a security feature and the
power will not run through the cable. In this case the red LED
will not illuminate.
Attach the black camera antenna (2dBi) to the back of the camera. Hold the camera where you intend to
install it (maximum 1,5 meters from power source). Test your LCD-monitor inside the car cabin to make
sure that the chosen position allows you to clearly see your horse in a satisfying way. The most common
place to install the camera is in the front or in the back of the trailer.
The extra mounting foot is placed where the best angle is achieved using glue or the included screws.
Place the camera on the extra mounting foot.
Place the LCD-monitor's holder in the front window of the car using the suction bracket or alternatively
use the air con bracket. Place the holder in a way that it does not block the driver's field of vision.
Connect the 5V cigarette adaptor to the car's cigarette lighter socket. Connect the other end of the
cigarette adaptor to LCD-monitor power socket marked with DC 5V IN to constantly supply the monitor
with power and to charge the battery.
Information
To be able to see the horse in the trailer even when you have left the car you need an
alternative power source since the power to the trailer is cut when the engine is turned
off. You can find a battery box to power the camera when other power sources are not
