The times and temperatures which
are set for the programmes are
merely guidelines. They should be
manually adjusted if necessary to
ensure that the food (in particular
poultry) is fully cooked.
For the preparation of frozen items,
follow the time and temperature
specifi cations of the manufacturer.
ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE
AND COOKING TIME
After a programme has been chosen, the
temperature and cooking time can be
adjusted manually:
Touch the fi eld
temperature, and twice to adjust the cooking
time.
When the respective display (24 or 23)
is fl ashing, the value can be increased
with the button + (16) or reduced with the
button – (25).
To scroll through the values quickly, hold
down the respective button.
DUAL COOK
The "DUAL COOK" function allows you to
programme the hot air oven so that it starts
with one presetting and then automatically
switches to a second presetting to cook the
food perfectly.
For example, you can fi rst cook a casserole
with a breadcrumb topping using the "BAKE"
programme and then immediately bake the
topping to make it crispy using the "BROIL"
programme.
PREHEATING
Once you have set the cooking time and
temperature, select the preheating function
(fi eld
(22)) and the device will switch on.
As soon as the preset temperature is
reached, it displays "Add food".
Place the food to be cooked in the device
and close the door (5). The device then
automatically starts the cooking process.
