Pay attention to the direction of rotation that
is set before switching on the pneumatic tool.
For example, when a screw is to be loosened and
the direction of rotation is set so that the screw is
tightened, this can lead to a strong torque reaction
of the pneumatic tool.
Do not run the pneumatic tool while carrying
it at your side. A rotating bit could become entan-
gled with clothing and injury may result.
If you wish to operate the pneumatic tool in a
suspension or clamping device, make sure
that the pneumatic tool is first mounted in the
device before you connect it to the air supply.
In this way you avoid starting the tool accidentally.
Regularly check the condition of the hanging
hoop and the hook of the suspension device.
Some dust created by power

sanding, sawing, grinding, drill-
ing, and other construction activities contains
chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects,
or other reproductive harm. Some examples of
these chemicals are:
• Lead from lead-based paints,
• Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other
masonry products, and
• Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated
lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on
how often you do this type of work. To reduce your
exposure to these chemicals: work in a well-ventilated
area, and work with approved safety equipment, such
as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter
out microscopic particles.
