Know the contents of the chemical being
sprayed. Read all Material Safety Data Sheets
(MSDS) and container labels provided with the
chemical. F o l l o w t h e c h e m i c a l m a n u f a c t u r e r ' s
s a f e t y i n s t r u c t i o n s .
Do not leave residue or spray material in the
tank after using the sprayer. C l e a n a f t e r e a c h u s e .
Do not smoke while using the sprayer, o r s p r a y
where spark or flame is present.
Risk of injection. D o n o t d i s c h a r g e d i r e c t l y a g a i n s t
s k i n .
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not put
the sprayer into water or other liquid. D o n o t
place or store the sprayer where it can fall or be
pulled into a tub or sink.
Maintain this product. Thoroughly inspect both
the inside and outside of the sprayer and exam-
ine the components before each use. Check for
cracked and deteriorated hoses, leaks, clogged
nozzles, and missing or damaged parts. If dam-
aged, have the product repaired before use.
Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained
p r o d u c t s .
Disconnect the battery from the unit before
draining, cleaning, or storing the sprayer. S u c h
p r e v e n t i v e s a f e t y m e a s u r e s r e d u c e t h e r i s k o f a c c i -
d e n t a l s t a r t i n g .
Always wear eye protection with side shields
or goggles marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1.
Failure to do so could result in fluids entering your
eyes resulting in possible serious injury.
Protect your lungs. W ear a face or dust mask
when using the sprayer. F o l l o w i n g t h i s r u l e w i l l
reduce the risk of serious personal injury.
Battery tools do not have to be plugged into
an electrical outlet ; therefore, they are always
in operating condition. Be aware of possible
hazards when not using your battery tool or
when changing accessories. Remove battery
pack when tool is not in use. F o l l o w i n g t h i s r u l e
will reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or serious
personal injury.
Do not place battery tools or their batteries near
fire or heat. T h i s w i l l r e d u c e t h e r i s k o f e x p l o s i o n
and possibly injury.
Do not crush, drop or damage battery pack. Do
not use a battery pack or charger that has been
dropped or received a sharp blow. A d a m a g e d
battery is subject to explosion. Properly dispose of a
dropped or damaged battery immediately.
Batteries can explode in the presence of a
source of ignition, such as a pilot light. T o r e d u c e
the risk of serious personal injury, never use any
cordless product in the presence of open flame. An
exploded battery can propel debris and chemicals. If
exposed, flush with water immediately.
Do not charge battery tool in a damp or wet
location. F o l l o w i n g t h i s r u l e w i l l r e d u c e t h e r i s k o f
e l e c t r i c s h o c k .
For best results, your battery tool should be
charged in a location where the temperature is
more than 10 ° C (50 ° F) but less than 40 ° C (104 ° F).
To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, do not
s t o r e o u t s i d e o r i n v e h i c l e s .
Under extreme usage or temperature conditions,
battery leakage may occur. If liquid comes in
contact with your skin, wash immediately with
soap and water. If liquid gets into your eyes,
ush them ith clean ater for at least 0 min-
utes, then seek immediate medical attention.

Do not use battery-operated appliance in rain.
Exercise care in handling batteries in order not
to short the battery with conducting materials
such as rings, bracelets, and keys. The battery or
conductor may overheat and cause burns.
Do not dispose of the battery ies in a fire. T h e
c e l l m a y e x p l o d e . C h e c k w i t h l o c a l c o d e s f o r p o s s i -
ble special disposal instructions.
Do not open or mutilate the battery(ies).

damage to the eyes or skin. It may be toxic if
s w a l l o w e d .
Avoid Dangerous Environment - D o n ' t u s e a p p l i -
a n c e s i n d a m p o r w e t l o c a t i o n s .
Use Right Appliance - D o n o t u s e a p p l i a n c e f o r
any job except that for which it is intended.
Don ' t Force Appliance - It will do the job better
and with less likelihood of a risk of injury at the rate
f o r w h i c h i t w a s d e s i g n e d .
Store Idle Appliances Indoors - W h e n n o t i n u s e ,
appliances should be stored indoors in dry, and high
o r l o c k e d - u p p l a c e - o u t o f r e a c h o f c h i l d r e n .

Check Damaged Parts - B e f o r e f u r t h e r u s e o f t h e
a p p l i a n c e , a g u a r d o r o t h e r p a r t t h a t i s d a m a g e d
should be carefully checked to determine that it will
o p e r a t e p r o p e r l y a n d p e r f o r m
Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of
moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any
other condition that may a ect its operation. A guard
or other part that is damaged should be properly
repaired or replaced by an authorized service center
u n l e s s i n d i c a t e d e l s e w h e r e i n t h i s m a n u a l .
Don t topple a filled-up tank to avoid leak in case
tank lid is not tightened.

Residual risks

Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with instructions, certain resid-
ual risks cannot be rules out. The following
hazards may arise in connection with the
equipment' s construction and layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective mask is used.
. Contact with hazardous substances. Spray mate-
rials can be harmful if inhaled or swallowed or if
a l l o w e d t o c o m e i n t o c o n t a c t w i t h t h e s k i n o r e y e s .
