Dispensing steam products (option)
When working with steam or power steam, the polished parts can get very hot!
1.
Open the steam cock (Fig. 4, pos. 01) briefly, to rinse out the condensed water and then
close again.
2.
Hold the steam outlet (Fig. 4, pos. 02) into the milk which is to be heated and open the
steam cock until the desired temperature is reached.
3.
After removing the milk jug, briefly open and close the steam cock again and then clean
the steam outlet with a damp cloth.
The temperature for the frothed milk must not exceed +65°C, because otherwise, valuable
proteins are damaged. This can affect the taste.
Dispensing power steam products (option)
Using Power steam, milk can easily be frothed or heated automatically. A temperature sen-
sor monitors the milk temperature. The steam is automatically turned-off when the optimum
temperature is reached.
1.
To froth milk, press the bolt (Fig. 5, pos. 04) to the right into the froth position. For hot
milk, the bolt must be pressed to the left.
2.
Press the STEAM KEY (Fig. 5, pos. 03) and wait a short time until the condensed water
has run out. To stop the process, press the key again.
3.
There must be enough milk in the jug to cover the steam nozzle by at least 2 cm of milk.
Hold the steam outlet by the black handle and plunge the steam pipe into the jug of
cold milk.
4.
Start the froth/warming process by pressing the STEAM KEY.
5.
The steam will stop automatically as soon as the required temperature is reached.
6.
After removing the milk jug, press the STEAM KEY twice in quick succession (Start/Stop)
and clean the steam outlet with a damp cloth.
