Cleaning of the various modules

Each module can be cleaned separately. The cleaning should be accomplished twice
a day for each module.
1. Open the door and emptying the coffee grounds drawer. (Description page 18)
2. Close the door and start the cleaning process while press the CLEANING KEY.
3. The display will show CHOOSE CLEANING. Select the desired cleaning with the
RIGHT KEY.
4. Confirm your selection with the CLEANING KEY.

Your choice COFFEE:

1. Have the HGZ cleaning tablet (
2. The display will show alternately ADD TABLET.
3. Place the cleaning tablet in the tablet slot and close it. Confirm successful insertion
by pressing the CLEANING KEY.
4. The display will show CLEANING and the progress will be indicated in %.

Your choice INSTANT:

1. The Display will show CLEANING and after about 1 minute, the operation is com-
pleted.

Your choice MILK:

1. The machine requires to fill the supplied cleaning container with 2 litres of warm
water and 60 ml Cappucleaner
2. Start cleaning the milk module by pressing the CLEANING KEY.
3. After cleaning the milk module, you will be prompted to wash the cleaning contai-
ner. Then fill the container with 2 litres of warm water.
4. Starting the rinsing process by pressing the CLEANING KEY.
5. After about 5 minute, the operation is completed.

Cleaning the bean hopper

The cleaning should be accomplished 1 x monthly. Use a degreasing cleaner and a
brush.
1. For this work the machine must be switched-off.
2. Open the front door.
3. Rotate up the powder injection and take out the powder hoppers.
4. Close the bean hopper lock.
5. Lift up and remove the hoppers from the top of the coffe machine.
6. Empty coffee beans temporarily in another container.
7. The interior of the bean hoppers should be cleaned thoroughly with grease-busting
detergent and a brush.
8. Replace the dry bean hoppers and close the bean hopper lock.
9. Insert the powder hoppers and rotate down the powder injection.
10. Close the front door an restart the coffee machine.
