Checkliste vor Arbeitsbeginn
Vor Arbeitsbeginn hat sich der Fahrer vom
betriebssicheren Zustand des Fahrzeuges
zu überzeugen. Der Fahrer dieses Fahr-
zeugs muß im Besitz eines gültigen
Fahrausweises sein.
Es sind die entsprechenden nationalen
Vorschriften zu beachten.
Vorsicht
Der Betrieb des Fahrzeugs ist nur bei
geschlossenen Deckeln und Klappen und
angebrachten Abdeckungen zulässig.
Funktionsprüfung der Brems-
einrichtungen
• Prüfen der Totmannbremsfunktion.
• Bereich um den Totmannschalter auf
Fremdkörper untersuchen.
• Prüfen der Reversierbremse. Der
Brems- und anschließende Beschleuni-
gungsvorgang muß weich und ruckfrei
erfolgen.
• Prüfen der Bremsfunktion nach Betäti-
gen von Not-Ausschalter und Schlüssel-
schalter.
• Prüfen der Systemfunktion bei "Zwangs-
bremsung am Gangende"*: Bremsauto-
matik mit Entriegelung, Kriechgeschwin-
digkeitumschaltung und Absolutstopp.
Funktionsprüfung der
Lenkung
• Die Lenkung muß sich ruckfrei bewegen
lassen. Maximaler Lenkwinkel
rechts/links >90°.
Prüfen der Bedienungseinrich-
tungen
• Hebel und Taster auf einwandfreien
Zustand prüfen.
• Die Mehrfunktionenhebel und Taster
müssen selbständig in die Neutralpositi-
on zurückgehen.
• Alle Bedienelemente sind auf einwand-
freie Funktion und auf ihren Zustand zu
prüfen.
Prüfen des Schlüsselschalters
• Schlüssel muß abziehbar sein.
• Bei Schlüssel in O-Stellung sowie bei
abgezogenem Schlüssel darf das Fahr-
zeug nicht benutzbar sein.

Checklist before starting work
Before starting work, the driver has to
make sure, that the truck is in safe conditi-
on to be operated. The driver of this order
picker truck must be in possession of a
valid driver's licence.
The respective national regulations must
be observed.
Caution
Operation of the truck is only permissible
with the lids and flaps closed and with all
covers in place.
Function check of the braking
systems
• Check the function of th deadman brake.
• Check the area around the dead man
brake pedal for foreign bodies.
• Check the reversing brake. The braking
and subsequent acceleration must be
smooth and without jerking.
* Check the braking function after actua-
ting the emergency STOP switch and
the key-operated switch.
• Check system function on "End of aisle
braking"*: Automatic braking with relea-
se, creep speed switchover and comple-
te stop.
Steering performance test
• The steering must be controllable with-
out jerking. Maximum steering lock to
the right/left-hand stop >90°.
Function check of the opera-
ting devices
• Check the function of handles, keys and
levers.
• The control lever and keys must return
to their neutral position automatically.
• All operating elements have to be
checked for proper function and conditi-
on.
Checking the key switch
• It must be possible to take out the key.
• With the key in the 0 position or when
the key is removed, it should not be pos-
sible to use the truck.
