3.1 Materials used:

Valve body - grey cast iron
Spool- hardened steel
Pressure centering springs - patented steel wire for spring production
Control ring and pin - stainless steel with 10% nickel alloy
Control system stopper - brass
Control system extension, pipe and armature, coil casing, sensor body and flange - steel
Coil carcass, coil jacket plug, coil connector foot - polyamide (PA)

Valve seal - NBR, FPM
The materials used are not included in the lists of prohibited and mandatory documented substances of Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and EU
Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH).
3.2 Surface protection against corrosion:
In the standard version the valve body is phosphated, the outer surface of the steel parts is galvanized with corrosion protection
240 h in NSS according to ISO 9227.
In the version with reinforced corrosion protection, the body and the outer surface of the steel parts are galvanized with corrosion protection
520 h in NSS according to ISO 9227.
The surface protection layer does not contain hexavalent chromium Cr+6.

3.4 Working fluid
The valve is designed for common hydraulic working fluids:
› mineral oils of performance classes HM and HV according to ISO 6734-4
› non-flammable and difficult to ignite hydraulic fluids according to ISO 12922
› environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluids according to ISO 15380
NOTICE: In case of uncertainty, we recommend performing a test of the mutual tolerance of the seal material and the working fluid.

The operating limit curves are set at the least favourable operating conditions, i.e. the maximum permissible fluid and ambient temperature and
the minimum control voltage.
