4. OPERATION

The installation must be performed by a qualified professional.
Please, check each time before using, the electrical connections and the cables are not damaged. Also, it
is NOT recommended to perform, for example, a cable extension. It is not certain whether this modification
is technically correct, so this warranty is void. It must be ensured that the pump is sufficiently cooled during
prolonged operation.
Diesel pumps are electrical products, which have to be protected against outer influences, f.e. caused by weather.
Only use the pump in well-ventilated rooms and areas with enough fresh air. The floor, on which the pump may be
used, should be flat. Please keep enough space from walls. Place the diesel-tank as near to the pump as possible.
The specified suction lift is the maximum suction at optimal conditions. The suction line to the pump has to be
steadily increasing. The pump and the suction pipe must be filled with diesel/fuel oil before turning „on" the
pump. Do not reduce the cross area of suction and discharge lines. Connect suction and discharge lines to the pump
by means of reinforced metal hose. For stationary use please place the pump on rubber pads to reduce vibration
transmission to and from the pump and thereby prevent damage caused. The suction and discharge line should be
connected to to the pump in souch way, that no mechanical stress on the connections occure. For example, Fix lines
by pipe clamps with rubber insert on the wall.
CAUTION: Do not connect a hose more than 5m 1 inch on the pressure side. For smaller hose diameters,
use corresponding short hoses. When using a pump nozzle, it is absolutely necessary to ensure that the
pump is switched off immediately after the nozzle is closed. These measures must be adhered to in order
to avoid damage of pumps.
Example installation with the

1. Connect all parts correctly and
ensure outlet connections are
in proper placement (Remark:
oil suction pipe prepared by
the user).
2. Apply power cord to the motor
by plugging the power cord
into a power source. Turn on
the pump by use the on/off
swich.
3. Refuel as usual.
ATTENTION! NOT ALL
PUMP SETS CONTAIN A
NOZZLE WITH AUTOMATIC
SHUT-OFF.
4. When fueling is complete,
return the nozzle to its storage
position and turn off the pump.
1. Reset the meter (if present) to
„0" before each use to ensure
proper measuring of each
fueling job.
2. Do not leave the motor run-
ning, when not in operation.
3. Clean the fuel strainer
regularly.
