Manual firmware update procedure (Windows 10/11)
Required operating system: PC with Windows® 10 or higher
1) Connect your T818 to the USB port of your PC and leave it switched off.
The switch button (located at the back of the servo base) must be in the OFF position.
Make sure you have equipped your T818 with an add-on wheel before powering it up.
2) If not already done, install the latest driver on your PC:

You will find the driver for the T818 on our Technical support website, in the Drivers
section: https://support.thrustmaster.com//product/t818/
During this procedure:
− DO NOT turn on the racing wheel until instructed to do so.
− The racing wheel must be connected directly to the USB port of the
computer. We do not recommend using a USB hub or USB extender for this
procedure.

DO NOT CLICK in windows that may appear during the update.
Restart the computer.
3) Turn on your racing wheel.
The racing wheel switch button is located at the back of the servo base.
Press the button to switch to the ON position.
