Function and assembly description
The Kakadu toilet and bath chair is installed as shown in the picture opposite. We recommend the following order:
● Take all parts out of the box and check that all parts are there. If anything is missing, contact the dealer
immediately before further assembly.
● Turn the frame upside down and place it on the floor.
● Insert the wheel mounting tubes into each tube. 2 holes are drilled (A & B) in both the mounting tube on the
wheel and in the frame. The wheels can easily be mounted at 3 different heights. Make sure that all wheels
are mounted at the same height. Tighten the bolt securely.
● Now turn the frame over. Lock the brakes on the wheels before continuing.
● Fit the spine tubes in the 2 mounting holes at the back of the frame. Secure the back by turning the handles.
● Fit the lid to the bucket. Slide it into the rails fitted under the seat. This is done from the front of the chair.
Then close the cut-out with the removable PU lid.
● Fit the footrests by inserting the plastic plug at the top of the footrests into the tube ends in the frame front.
Then turn the footrest until it locks.
Use of the brakes
1 Always brake when you don't want to move the chair.
2 Never leave the Kakadu shower chair and toilet wheelchair unbraked
when a person is sitting on it.
3 Never leave the Kakadu shower chair and toilet wheelchair unbraked
on slopes.
4 To lock the brakes, press the brake lever on the wheels with your foot
until it engages (see picture on the right).
5 To release the brakes, lift the brake levers on the wheels with your
foot (see picture on the right).
