1. Introduction
Thank you for buying a high-quality Mobilex product. These user instructions contain a detailed product
description and important guidelines for correct use of the product. You must read the instructions carefully
before using the product. Please always observe all guidelines, in particular the security instructions, in order to
use the product safely for a long time.
Intended use of the device
The Kakadu is a medical device intended to be used only as seating support by individuals who require such help
during bathing, showering and defecating. It is also a transport option intended to move patients from and to
bathrooms and toilets. The device serves a fundamental function and makes the life of both the physically
challenged user and the assistant much easier. The device should only be used indoors. Any other use is prohibited.
Indications
Commode wheelchairs are indicated for people with mobility limitations who have problems with walking, standing,
or sitting without stable support. The devices are dedicated to persons who, because of their disabilities, can't
perform their daily hygienic activities in regular shower cabins, bathtubs and who are unable to use regular toilets,
even after modifications.
The commode is indicated to move patient to and from bathroom in a sitting position independently, or with the help
of an attendant and to enable hygienic activities such as body washing or defecation. Using the product for purposes
other than those indicated above, is prohibited.
Contraindications
The commode wheelchair should not be used by people who cannot maintain a stable sitting position.
Contraindications cannot be related to one specific clinical picture, and they depend on individual evaluation of
potential user's health status. The choice of orthopedic aid appropriate for a given clinical picture must be always
made with the help of a specialist physician or physiotherapist. In addition, observe the safety information in
Chapter 2.

2. Security instructions
● Make sure that this user manual is read by all persons using the device. Manufacturer doesn't take any
responsibility for damages and/or injuries, caused by the fact that the user manual has not been followed.
● Only use the product in flawless condition.
● If defects or errors are detected you must immediately contact the dealer.
● Follow the information on the product label.
● Only use the product for the described purpose.
● Avoid making constructive changes on the device, unless you have the manufacturer's written acceptance
for such modifications.
● During the assembly or during the different adjustments which are possible on the device the user must take
care not to squeeze the fingers or other body parts between two moving elements of the device.
● The device must only be used on a stable surface.
● All wheels MUST be in contact with the floor at ALL TIMES during use. This will ensure that the device is
properly balanced and should avoid accidents.
● Do not stand on footrests, and do not sit on the edge of the seat with the legs on the footrests
● When using the device in a stationary position, the brakes MUST be locked.
● Each device must not be loaded with more than specified in the technical data sheet.
● The device is only to be used indoors and on flat surfaces without any obstacles.
● Always maintain a stable sitting position when using this device and users should not be left on the device
unattended. Only remove the hole cover when chair is used for defecating.
● When the toilet cut-out is mounted on the seat, the bucket with lid must also be mounted.
3. Description
Product description
The device is supplied in a carton, detached into few elements for easier transportation´and assembly. The contents
are:
