TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
No display.
The unit switches off and
cannot be switched on
again or the unit does
not switch on when
the ON/OFF button is
pressed.
The remote control does
not work.
Potential cause
The dimmer is set too
low and the flames are
barely visible.
The LED light bulbs have
burnt out.
The 'flame rod' has come
loose from the holder.
The motor of the 'flame
rod' does not work.
The overheating protec-
tion has been activated.
The fuse in the house
has been tripped.
The batteries are dead.
Manual operation of the
unit must be activated
before the remote con-
trol can be used.
Solution
Press the Dimmer but-
ton to adjust the flame
brightness.
Contact a technician.
Remove the rear cover.
Secure the 'flame rod'
back in the holder.
Contact a technician.
Switch off the device,
pull the power plug out
of the socket and let the
device cool down for at
least 10 minutes.
Reset the fuse.
Replace the batteries in
the remote control.
Switch on the unit manu-
ally via the control panel.
The remote control can
now be used. The unit
must be switched on in
order to use the remote
control.
