before using for the first time
Remove the cups and spoons from

the kettle.
Fill to 'MAX', boil, then pour the
l
water away. Repeat 2 to 3 times.
Wash the cups and spoons and then

dry.

1 Remove the cups and spoons from
the kettle.
2 Select the required voltage by turning
the selector control j. Always
check that you have selected the
correct voltage before using the
kettle.
3 Fill the kettle through either the spout
or lid. To open the lid, pull back the
lid release catch b. The water level
must be between 'MAX' and 1 cup
(200mls).
