Contents and purpose
This manual describes the proper mounting of the
deadlock with micro switch. Before commencing any
work, personnel must have carefully read through and
understood this manual. Complying with all safety
instructions and action steps provided in this manual
is the basic prerequisite for safe working.

may only be mounted by qualified personnel who are
specially trained in glazing installation.

2.1
Intended use
The deadlock with micro switch, such as the complete
HSW EASY Safe, is only suitable for dry indoor areas.
2.2
Limitations on use
The deadlock with micro switch, such as the complete
HSW EASY Safe, is not suitable for showers, sauna,
bath or salt-water bath applications or areas where
chemicals (e.g. chlorine) are used.

Basic warnings

Works on the electrical unit
must only be carried out by qualified
electricians.
• Before starting work on electrical units
and equipment, establish a voltage-
free state and maintain this state while
carrying out the work.
CAUTION
Risk of injury from broken glass during
mounting.
Incorrect mounting can lead to
broken glass and injuries
.
• Store glass on trestles or wooden blocks
and ensure that it cannot fall.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage to glass components
due to contact with hard materials (e.g.
glass, metal, concrete).
The contact may cause conchoidal fractures,
damage the edges and/or break the glass
of the
glass components.
• Damaged glass components should not be
installed – risk of injury.
