Cleaning and maintenance
The housing can be cleaned with a slightly damp (not wet) cloth. In necessary, the sensor can be cleaned
with a non-contaminating cloth slightly dampened with alcohol.
Important: Do not use solvent, petroleum or similar chemicals to clean the housing.

Troubleshooting
Condition
No indication with the power
source switched on.
The display never shows "0.00".
The indication is not changed if
you bring it closer to the object.

Warranty
The warranty is valid for one year from the date of delivery. It covers only defects caused by the
manufacturer, such as material and processing defects. In the event of an acknowledged defect, the
manufacturer will repair or replace the device at its sole discretion. No other liabilities apply. The warranty
does not apply to wear and tear through usage, incorrect maintenance and handling, repairs through a non-
authorized body, changes to the device or misuse, etc.
8.
Servicing
All devices purchased from STATECH SYSTEMS AG (STS) can be returned to STS for calibration. On
request, STS can notify you when your device is due for calibration. Repairs must be made only by
authorized SSD contractors (Europe: STATECH SYSTEMS AG).
Cause that can be considered
The plus and minus are
interchanged whether the battery
is fit or not.
The battery is exhausted fully.
The adjustment of 0 point is
slipped.
The MAX or the Hold Mode is
activated
The sensor is dirty
The MAX or the Hold Mode is
activated
The detected sensor is bad
Method of treatment
Fit the battery rightly.
Exchange it into a new battery.
Adjust 0 point again
Change in the normal Mode
Clean the sensor
Change in the normal Mode
It needs to change its sensor. Send
the device to your dealer.
