7.2. Errors
Your bike is equipped with a self-diagnosis tool to identify potential issues early on. In case an error
has been reported by the system, the maintenance symbol on the display will light up. It will be
accompanied by an error code in the journey data field (located in the bottom right corner). Using
the bike while an error is displayed will not harm the bike. The most frequently occurring errors can
quite often be solved by yourself:
Error code
Code 21
Speedsensor error
Code 7
Battery connection error
Code 10, 11
High temperature motor
It is possible that other errors are detected in the system, or that the above instructions do not
help. In this case, please contact your dealer.
7. TROUBLESHOOTER
Answer
The speed is monitored by a small magnet on the rear wheel and a sensor
on the frame. Please check if the magnet is aligned well with the round black
sensor.
Check if the battery is connected properly. Remove and reconnect the battery
if necessary.
Your e-bike is running hot. Please let it cool down a little bit before continuing
your journey. On a very steep hill or with heavy load put the bike in a lower
power level. Contact your dealer if this problem persists in normal driving
conditions.
