3.1 Conformity and approval

Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declares that the
radio equipment type TRAVEL-VLOG complies with Directive
2014 / 53 / EU . The full text of the EU declaration of conformity
is available on the Internet: www .monacor .com
The product is generally approved for operation in EU and
EFTA countries . No registration or licence is required for op-
eration in these countries .
4 Charging the Batteries and Checking the
Charging Status
The transmitter and the receiver are supplied with power
via built-in lithium-ion batteries . Fully charge the batteries
before first use:
1) Before charging, switch off the devices [keep the button
(5) pressed for approx . 3 s until the LEDs go out] . The
devices cannot be used while their batteries are charged .
2) Connect the micro USB plugs of the charging cable (fig . 5)
to the jacks (6) on the lower sides of the transmitter and
the receiver . Connect the USB plug of the adapter to
the USB port of a computer or a 5 V power supply unit
with USB port .
3) The LED "LO /CHG" (3) lights red while the battery is
charged . When the battery has been fully charged, the
LED "FULL" (4) lights green .
To check the charging status, briefly press the button
the device is switched off . The LED "LO /CHG" (3) then flashes
red up to 4 times depending on the charging status (4 times
= battery fully charged; no flashing = battery discharged) .
