Prescribed Use
The product is intended to display the time and the date as well as the interior temperature (incl.
the temperature history of the last 12 hours) and humidity; furthermore an alarm function is inte-
grated.
By means of an air pressure sensor the weather forecast for the next 12-24 hours is calculated
and shown as a symbol in the display.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled. You may only operate the product in
dry indoor areas.

Safety Instructions
Please read all the instructions before using this device. They include
important information on correct operation. The guarantee/warranty will be
void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with the operating
instructions. We do not assume any liability for any consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is not allowed for
reasons of safety and approval (CE).
The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Install the
product out of the reach of children. The product contains glass (display), and swal-
lowable small parts and batteries.
The weather station is only intended to be used in dry, closed indoor locations.
The weather forecasts of the weather station are only meant as orientation values.
They do not present an absolutely precise forecast. The manufacturer does not
accept any responsibility for incorrect displays, measurements or weather fore-
casts or the consequences which might arise from this.
The product is intended for private use and not suited for medical purposes or
informing the public.
Do not leave the packaging material lying around, since it may be dangerous to chil-
dren.
Handle the product with care; knocks, blows or even a fall from a low height can
damage it.
Notes on batteries/rechargeable batteries
• Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries away from children.
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed by chil-
dren or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged (rechargeable) batteries can cause burns if they come into contact with
the skin. For this reason you should use suitable protective gloves.
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire.
There is a risk of explosion!
• Conventional batteries must not be recharged. Danger of explosion! Only charge rechargeable
batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• Please observe the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting rechargeable bat-
teries.
• Do not mix batteries or rechargeable batteries with different levels of charge.
• Never mix batteries with rechargeable batteries! Use either batteries or rechargeable bat-
teries.
• The device may be operated with rechargeable batteries instead of regular batteries. However,
due to the lower voltage (rechargeable batteries = 1.2V, batteries = 1.5V) and the lower capacity
of rechargeable batteries, the operating time is decreased.
Start up, replacement of batteries
• Detach the cover of the battery compartment at the back of the weather station and insert three
batteries type micro/AAA with correct polarity (observe plus/+ and minus/-), for ex. Conrad item
number 652303 (order 2x).

• All display segments appear and the weather station releases a brief alarm sound.

As a matter of course the temperature history in the upper right corner of the dis-
play does not show any changes for the last 12 hours.
Moreover a weather forecast (upper left symbol in the display) is only possible after
about 12-24 hours.
• Close the battery compartment.
• Now set the time of day and the date; you can also (if desired) program an alarm time. For
instuctions on how to do this, see the next chapters.
• The batteries have to be replaced if a battery symbol ("
of day, the contrast of the display is only weak or nothing is displayed anymore.
Setting the Time
• Briefly and repeatedly press the "MODE" button at the back of the weather station as many
times as necessary until the time of day is displayed (flashing colon).
• Press and hold the "MODE" button (approx. 3 seconds) until the hours in the display start
flashing.
• Using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons, you can set the hours. For a quick adjustment hold the
corresponding button for a longer period of time.
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
Alternatively the set mode is left automatically if no button is used for about 10
seconds.
• The minutes will start flashing.
• Set the minutes using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons. For a quick adjustment hold the corre-
sponding button for a longer period of time.
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
Alternatively the set mode is left automatically if no button is used for about 10
seconds.
Setting the date
• Briefly and repeatedly press the "MODE" button at the back of the weather station as many
times as necessary until the date is displayed ("M" and "D" next to the date).
• Press and hold the "MODE" button as long as necessary (approx. 3 seconds) until the year in
the display starts flashing.
• Using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons, you can set the year. For a quick adjustment hold the
corresponding button for a longer period of time.
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
Alternatively the set mode is left automatically if no button is used for about 10 sec-
onds.
• The month ("M") will start flashing.
• Using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons, you can set the month. For a quick adjustment hold the
corresponding button for a longer period of time.
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
Alternatively the set mode is left automatically if no button is used for about 10
seconds.
• The date ("D") will start flashing.
• Using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons, you can set the date. For a quick adjustment hold the
corresponding button for a longer period of time.
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.

10 seconds.

the alarm time is displayed (bell symbol to the left of the time).
• Press and hold the "MODE" button as long as necessary (approx. 3 seconds) until the hours
in the display start flashing.
• Using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons, you can set the hours of the alarm time. For a quick
adjustment hold the corresponding button for a longer period of time.
• Confirm the setting by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
Alternatively the set mode is left automatically if no button is used for about
10 seconds.
• The minutes will start flashing.
• Using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons, you can set the minutes of the alarm time. For a quick

Changing of the 12h/24h display mode
• Briefly and repeatedly press the "MODE" button on the back of the weather station as often as
necessary until the time of day is displayed (flashing colon).
• Press and hold the "UP" button for about 3 seconds in order to switch between the 12h and
the 24h display mode.
In the 12h-display mode "PM" will appear in the display in the second half of a day.
Please note: If you switch the display modes during the first half of the day the dis-
play does not change; you cannot determine which mode of display is selected until
1 pm (13:00).
Display Date
• Briefly and repeatedly press the "MODE" button on the back of the weather station as often as
necessary until the date is displayed ("M" for month, "D" for day).

The display will change automatically back to the time of day after a few seconds.
• The day of the week (Monday - Sunday) is calculated automatically.

Switching the temperature units °C/°F
Briefly press the button "DOWN" in order to switch betwee °C (degree Celcius) and °F (degree
Fahrenheit).
Displaying MIN/MAX values for temperature and air humidity
Briefly press the "MAX/MIN" button in order to switch between the display of the MAX values, the
MIN values and the present measured values.
Depending whether the MIN or MAX values are displayed, "MIN" or "MAX" respec-
tively will appear at the bottom of the display (above the humidity).
Deleting MAX/MIN values
The saved values will always be deleted automatically at 0:00 o'clock; manual deletion is not
possible.
Temperature trend display
In the upper right of the display the trend of the temperature is shown displaying the change of
the measured interior temperature for the last 12 hours as a bar graph.
Weather forecast
In the upper left of the display the weather forecast for the next 12-24 hours is shown as a graphical
display.
The weather station forecast is one of the most interesting features. Although, of course, the
weather station cannot replace the professional weather forecast on the radio, television or
Internet through highly-qualified meteorologists, it is remarkable that a precision of about 70%
can be achieved based on readings and monitoring of the barometric pressure over recent days.
Regarding the symbols and their meaning we would like to give some explanation:
• If "sunny" is displayed at night, this means a starlit night.
• The display does not represent the momentary weather situation, but is a forecast for the next
12 to 24 hours.
• The calculation of the weather forecast based only on barometric pressure results in a maximum
accuracy of about 70%. The actual weather the next day can therefore be completely different.
Since the measured barometric pressure only applies for an area with a diameter of about 50 km,
the weather can also change quickly. This is especially true in hilly or mountainous locations.
Therefore, don't depend on the weather forecast of the weather station, but inform yourself
locally when you would like to hike in the mountains, for example.
• In case of sudden or larger air pressure fluctuations, the display symbols are updated to indi-
cate the weather change. If the display symbols do not change, either the air pressure did not
change or the change occurred so gradually that it cannot be registered by the weather sta-
tion.
• If the weather forecast shows "Sun" or "Rain", the display won't change even if the weather
improves (display "Sun") or deteriorates (display "Rain") since those symbols already display
the two extreme conditions.
• The display symbols indicate a weather change for the better or worse, which does not have
to mean sun or rain, however, as indicated by the symbols.
For example, if the current weather is cloudy and rain is displayed, this does not mean that the
device malfunctions, but rather that the air pressure has dropped and that a worse weather
condition is to be expected, which does not necessarily have to mean rain, however.
• After making the basic settings, you should not pay attention to the measuring values and
weather forecasts for the first 12 to 24 hours, because the station must first collect air pressure
data in this period at a constant height above sea level before being able to make a more exact
forecast.
• If the weather station is brought to a significantly higher or lower location than the original site
(e.g. from the ground floor to the upper storeys of a building) the weather station may possibly
erroneously detect a change in weather.
Enabling/disabling the alarm function
In normal display mode (not in set mode) press the "UP" button to enable the alarm function (bell
symbol appears to the left of the time) or disable it (bell symbol vanishes).
Stopping the alarm signal, SNOOZE-function
• If the alarm signal is released at the set alarm time the so-called SNOOZE-function
("SNOOZE") can be activated by pressing the button "SNZ".
Subsequently the bell symbols starts flashing and the alarm signal is interrupted for about 8
minutes. Then the alarm will be reactivated.
• In order terminate the alarm signal briefly press one of the other buttons.
Comfort indicator
The so-called "comfort indicator" is displayed via the display of the indoor temperature/humidity.
It is a graphic symbol for a combination of humidity and temperature:

Mounting or setting-up the weather station
The weather station is equipped with a retractable foot on the back for placing on a table. Set up
the product only on a flat, stable and sufficiently sized area.
It is also possible to mount it on a wall. A hole on the back of the display unit is for hanging it up,
e.g. on a screw or a nail.
When deciding on the placing, it may be necessary to use an appropriate pad mate-
rial on valuable furniture to avoid impressions or scratches on the surface.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any
reason.
Please use a dry, clean, soft cloth for cleansing. Do not apply too much pressure on the display,
as it can be damaged. Furthermore, scratches can occur.
Do not use any chemical cleaning agents, which might discolour the plastic housing.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste!
Dispose of the unserviceable product according to the relevant statutory regula-
tions.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
The end user is legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and rechargeable
batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries via the domestic waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with
the symbols shown, to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The
symbols for the relevant heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead
(marked on batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. under the rubbish lbin symbol on
the left).
You can dispose of your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at
your community's collection point or any place where batteries/rechargeable bat-
teries are sold!
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
