Installation & Charging

Never charge a frozen battery
•
Ensure that the battery is placed in a well-ventilated environment
•
Flooded batteries: Check the battery acid levels and add distilled
water to each cell unit if necessary to fill it up to the specified
level This helps purge excessive gas from the cells Do not overfill
the cells Carefully follow the refilling instructions supplied by the
battery manufacturer

Prior to use, the device must be properly installed as described in
these instructions

In case of a failure, a battery charger may produce sparks or electric
arcs Therefore, never install the device in the battery or engine
compartment of your vehicle or near any source of explosive gases

Protect all wiring from physical damage, vibration, water and
excessive heat

Ensure that the unit is properly set up for the type of battery
intended to be charged
