OPERATION
Used suction cannulas intended for repeated use must be cleaned and steam
sterilized after every patient (see Chapter 14.8).
The cannulas are to be exchanged after maximum of 100 cycles of steam
sterilizing.
Cannulas must be visually inspected for any signs of wear or tear before they are
used. Never use the cannulas if it is damaged: discard it immediately.
Suction cannulas are considered applied parts type B (according to IEC 60601-1).
Risk of overheating of the equipment .
It´s forbidden to cover ventilation openings placed on upper sides of equipment.
Danger of injury.
Before switching the equipment on it is neccessary to check if door of cabinet is
closed.
