The turntable

• Use the turntable (8) every time you use
the appliance.

– It rotates during cooking, in order to en-
sure that the food is evenly heated.
– The turntable can hold a weight of up to
max. 4 kg.
– It also collects dripping fat if used with
the grill rack (7).
1. Place the turntable drive (4) in the recess
in the middle as required.
2. Place the turntable (8) on the cooking
chamber floor and turn it until its centre
clicks into place on the turntable drive (4).
3. Always place cooking containers on the
turntable (8). This prevents liquid from
seeping into the appliance if it should boil
over.

Electrical connections

• Please check whether the device's supply
voltage is compatible with the supply volt-
age used in your house (please see the
type plate).
• Please ensure you only connect the ap-
pliance to a professionally installed pro-
tective contact socket with sufficient fuse
protection (see "Technical specifications"
on page EN-40).
• Note that the socket must be located away
from the reverse side of the appliance; oth-
erwise, the plug will be in contact with the
back plate.
• Do not use any multiplugs, extension ca-
bles, timer switches or remote control sys-
tems.
After inserting the mains plug into the socket,
will flash on the display (11) (see "Clock"
0: 0 0
on page EN-18).

First-time use

A slight odour may be produced during first
use. This is non-toxic and disappears after a
short moment.
• Allow the appliance to run for 10 minutes
in grill mode (see "Microwave mode" on
page EN-20).

Ventilator lag

After the cooking time has finished, the fan
will continue to run for a few minutes to cool
the appliance down. The duration depends
on how hot it is inside the appliance.
