This appliance has been de-
signed to wave, curl, curl ends in
and out, add body and straighten
hair.
While operating, the plates
may reach temperatures of up to
220ºC. The plastic parts near the
ceramic plates may also be hot.
We recommend that you hold
the appliance with your hand in
the temperature control zone
(fuchsia part) and that you put
your finger on the raised zone
(SOLAC logo).
Under no circumstances should
you use flammable substances
(gel, etc.) on your hair before using
the straighteners.

Do not use the straightener on
wet hair. Be sure that your hair is
completely dry and combed.
STRAIGHTENER OPENING AND
CLOSING (FIG. 1 AND 2)
The straightener has two buttons
•
for opening (9) and closing (10).
To close the straightener, close
the irons and press the close but-
ton (10). The irons will be locked in
the closed position. (Fig. 1)
To open the straightener, press
the open button (9). The irons will
open.
OPERATION
1. Place the straightener on a flat,
heat-resistant surface.
2. Plug it in.
3. Press the "On" button (1),
and the white "SENSE" icon
will switch on, showing that
the straightener is operating,
(Fig. 3).
4. Select the ideal temperature
for your type of hair by press-
ing the emperature selector (3)
(Fig. 4).
The temperature selector starts
•
at the coolest temperature grad-
ually moving up to the maximum
setting.
While heating, the icon of the
selected position will flash.
When the selected temperature
has been reached, the icon will
stay on permanently (Fig. 5).

The straightener will maintain
the preselected temperature con-
stant.
5. Create a straight or wavy style.
6. When you have finished using
the straightener, press the ON/
OFF switch (1).
7. Unplug the appliance from
the mains and wait until it has
cooled before storing.

This appliance has a memory:
the next time you turn it on, it will
remember the last temperature
that was selected.
