5.1 Conditions of Transport
Follow the storage conditions and the storage period on the packaging.
Store between
-20°C and + 40°C
Use MAVIG special coat hangers or suitable MAVIG storage systems for storing patient aprons
(see MAVIG catalogue). Store all other products on a flat surface. Radiation protection should
not be folded or allowed to hang over edges, and must be stored away from sources of heat.
Ensure that radiation protection is kept, stored, and used only within the standard temperature
and humidity range for the home and work environment.
5.2 Identification of the Product
The production label contains the following information:
RP270, RP271, RP274, RP648, RP664, RP668, RP679, RP689, RD614, ST-FS, ST-RZ, ST-ER
Model number (REF), description, colour (if applicable), size information (if applicable), material
information including tested X-ray tube voltage range, lead equivalent(s), CE marking, serial number,
manufacturer, date of manufacture (YYYYMMDD), cleaning/disinfection instruction, care label,
and corresponding standards.
RP643, RD635, RD642, RD644
Model number (REF), description, colour, size information, material information including tested
X-ray tube voltage range, lead equivalent(s), CE marking, batch or serial number, manufacturer,
date of manufacture (YYYYMMDD), cleaning/disinfection instruction, care label, corresponding
standards, and the letter symbol according to the size.
For the meaning of the letter(s) designating the size of the radiation protective apron please
refer to „Sizes & Dimensions" (Chapter 5.4.2).
The radiation protective product contains the following information:
RP276, RP278, RP280
Size information (if applicable), lead equivalent including tested X-ray tube voltage range, CE marking,
batch number, manufacturer, date of manufacture (DDMMYY), and corresponding standard.
