Installation

To install the switch actuator, please proceed as follows:
• Switch off the circuit breaker of the power circuit.
(see fig. 2).
• Pull the rocker off the frame of the relevant
switch.
• Then pull the frame off the switch together with
the clamping / retaining piece. The clamping/
retaining piece can be transparent, grey or black
depending on the manufacturer, and holds the
frame onto the switch.
To make removal easier, a slotted screwdriver, for
example, can be used.
• Loosen the fastening of the existing switch on
the flush-mounted box and carefully remove the
switch.
• Release the wiring and remove the existing
switch.
• Connect the Homematic IP switch actuator as
shown in figure 3.
• Place the switch actuator in the flush-mounted
box and fasten it to the device using the screws
supplied (see figure 4+5).
• Place the frame of your switch series on the
switch actuator (see figure 6).
• Insert a suitable adapter into the frame on the
