5 Instrument Calibration

Delivery comprises a calibration standard and test standard for color and gloss.
Each tile has a dedicated serial number matching your instrument. Use these
tiles to check if instrument is measuring correctly. The instrument will guide
you through the procedure.
1. Select Configuration > Calibration.
2. Click on Information to check current diagnose and calibration status.
3. Click on Perform Diagnosis for Color and Closs.
4. Place color test standard on the measurement aperture and confirm to
proceed.
5. Place gloss test standard on the measurement aperture and confirm to
proceed.
6. If diagnosis passes, instrument can be used to measure.
7. If diagnosis fails, clean the standard and repeat.
8. If diagnosis still fails click on Calibrate on white standard.
9. Place white calibration standard on the measurement aperture and con-
firm to proceed.
10. If calibration fails, clean the standard and repeat.
11. If calibration still fails, contact customer support.
Perform calibration only, if required - in order to ensure correct status of your
calibration standard.
NOTICE
Use option Add to standard list to store a test standard in the instrument
memory. Use
vals to document the correct status of your instrument.
