Hose removal placement
Repeat the above hose fitting operations in reverse order.
Hose fitting hose reel without enclosure OSM 400, 410, 500, 510, 610, 700, OSK 400 / 500
Position the hose reel as shown in fig. 28, fix nipple [N] using sealant and fix the chosen hose fig. 29 to
the nipple.
Turn the hose reel upside down, remove the 3 screws [F] (see fig. 30), and with a 10 mm - 3/8" hexagon wrench,
wind the hose (fig. 31) turning the wrench anticlockwise and fix the tube clamping block at the required length
(fig. 32), choosing the appropriate bushing [A]-[B]-[C] for the hose fitted.
To tighten the hose reel spring, turn the spring holder bushing (fig. 33) anticlockwise 5 complete turns using a
12 mm - 1/2" hexagon wrench.
Holding the 12 mm - 1/2" wrench firmly, impress the 3 screws [F] and then fix them (fig. 34).

Hose fitting enclosed hose reel OSM 420
Place the hose reel as shown in (fig. 35) and remove the hose
inspection casing. Screw the nipple [N]on the drum using a sealant (fig.
36) and fix the chosen hose (fig. 37) on the nipple.
Remove the 3 screws [F] (fig. 38). Position the hose reel, holding it firmly
(as shown in fig. 39). Insert a 10 mm - 3/8" Allen key in the seat of the
middle pin. Turning the key anticlockwise turns the drum that will wind
the hose (fig. 39).
During this operation the hose must be moved alternately to the right
and left so that it is wound on the entire width of the drum. It is advisable
for two persons to carry out the operations shown in fig. 39. After

winding the hose, fix the hose stop at the required length (fig. 40)
choosing the bushing [A]-[B]-[C] suitable for the hose fitted.
Then tighten the spring and turn the spring holder bushing anticlockwise
5 complete turns using a 12 mm - 1/2" hexagon wrench (fig. 41). Holding
the 12 mm - 1/2" wrench firmly with one hand, impress the 4 screws [F]
and fix them
in sequence (fig. 42).
